The Journal of Turkish Science Education for the publication of original peer-reviewed, research articles that address the science education with implications for improving and enhancing science education field at all levels across the world. TUSED is concerned with science education but also welcomes manuscripts on the integration of science education with other disciplines, e.g., STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or, geography, environment, social sciences and the arts. Submissions that are out of scope of the TUSED will not be considered for publication.

All manuscripts submitted are initially undergone to editorial review prior to starting peer-review procedure. When the manuscripts lack of reviewing criteria of the journal, they will be returned to the authors. Because TUSED only accepts the manuscripts in English, non-native speakers of English get manuscripts proofread by a native English speaker before submission. Unless all manuscripts submitted for review are free from language errors and must strictly be written the latest edition of the APA style., they will not be considered for publication and will not be sent to any of the journal reviewers for evaluation. It is completely the author’s responsibility to comply with the rules and check for any errors. When manuscripts are in a harmony with instruction for authors, they are sent at least two referees out. Given referees' comments, the associated editor comes up with a final decision. After acceptance, a pdf version of the manuscript is sent to the authors for proofreading. The authors merely make some minor changes in the manuscripts. They have to return this version to the editorial office within 72 hours.
